Craft show goodness
Yesterday's craft show at my Pays the Bills Job(tm) was pretty good. It was the 17th year that they've done it. This was my 6th year participating and each year has gotten better sales wise.
This year I shared a table with two very talented ladies: Kelly over at Ms Formaldehyde Tiki Oasis Jewelry and Hair Accessories and Christal from Christal Blu Creations
The weather started off a bit damp and foggy and I was worried about our table space was partially under a tree that was dripping ever so slightly. We were able to shift our space over a bit and the weather actually did clear up by the time the show officially started at 11 am.
The day progressed pretty quickly and before we knew it, it was 1:30 and time to shut everything down and true to form load out was much quicker than load in.
There are few things that I made note of that I need to change or add to my displays, but overall it was a great show.
Now I get to do a whirlwind cleaning for my Dad's Thanksgiving visit, get ready for the upcoming Dark Goddess Event and add some more items to my Etsy store before the Thanksgiving weekend.
We'll be honoring the starting of the holiday season with some great deals on the items in our Etsy store starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

You never have as much time as you think you do.
Here I thought that I had plenty of time to get all the sewing done that I wanted to for tomorrows craft show at work tomorrow. Until I got to this last weekend and realized that I only had 4 days to power through the pile of unfinished items in my sewing room.
Was I able to get through it? Mostly, there are a couple aprons that I haven't started, but I think I'm going to hold off on them and get all the pricing and packaging done tonight after I get home from work and all my running around. So it's going to be a late night, thankfully set up doesn't start tomorrow until 9 am and most of the items that I'm bringing are priced and packed in their respective totes.
I need to make sure that I bring my camera this round too, so I can get some photos of my table set up and some of the items that I haven't had time to photo at home as well.
Good think the coffee pot has a timer on it, so I can roll out of bed and caffeinate myself on the way out the door.
Photos to come soon, I promise!

Dark Goddess Event Halloween Edition
Thank you to everyone who made it out to the Dark Goddess Event. Sadly in the rush to get out of the house to combat the evening traffic, I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any photos of my table set up, though one of the other vendors did. Once I get permission from her to post it, I'll share it with everyone.
The Day of the Dead Apron went quickly and so did another one of the aprons with various monsters on it.
We're hoping to do another one for the Christmas/Yule season, so stay tuned for more updates from yours truly.
I'm also hoping to get some nice photos of the Pirate Coat that I did for a friend and get them posted as well.
Now that Halloween is over, I've started on some more aprons for the Thanksgiving & Christmas season. Normally I don't start thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but I have a show coming up at work on Nov. 18th and I need some more stock for it.
I'm also working on some mens' vests and some more boxes too.
More to come!
Until then have a great day!
